Mahlon Frank Coker III, passed away Friday,September 29, 2017 in St. Augustine, FL. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 3, 1939 and shared the same birthday as his wife of 57 ½ years Sandra Virginia Stephens Coker. He attended Robert E. Lee High School, Jacksonville University and received an honorable discharge from the Army Reserves. He loved the Florida Gators. Frank enjoyed coaching little league football and basketball for the YMCA. He retired as acting assistant Division Chief of Northside Generating Station with JEA as well as retiring after 25 years of service...

He was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 3, 1939 and shared the same birthday as his wife of 57 ½ years Sandra Virginia Stephens Coker. He attended Robert E. Lee High School, Jacksonville University and received an honorable discharge from the Army Reserves. He loved the Florida Gators. He retired as acting assistant Division Chief of Northside Generating Station with JEA as well as retiring after 25 years of service with Babcock Borsig Power DB Riley as a Seniorfield Engineer. He was a member of Terry Parker Baptist until he relocated to St. Augustine and is now a member of Anastasia Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents M.F. and Louise Coker Jr., and sister Beverly White. Frank is survived by his wife Sandra, children Stephanie, Carl, siblings Arthur (Mary) Coker, Robert Coker, Linda Machicuk, grandchildren Richard (Christie) Crowder, Reverend James (Wanda G.) Coker, Daniel F. Crowder, Kara (Brian) Peppers, great-grandchildren Kinley, Madison, Caleb, Mason, Jacob, Chase, Harley, Brooklyn, Brynn and cherished nieces and nephews. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the funeral home from 10-11am. Graveside services to begin at 11am at Riverside Memorial Park. Dr. Walter West officiating.
