Franklin "Frank" A. Remsen Jr., age 72 died on Monday, October 10, 2016 in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born in Long Island, New York to Franklin and Cora Betty (Brown) Remsen and was the older of two children.

Frank was a long time Jacksonville resident and a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. After graduating from high school he enlisted and served four years in the United States Army and then went on to serve in the National Guard for two more years before moving on. Frank worked for the City of Jacksonville for 35+ years, and received Master HVAC certificate.

Frank loved to play golf, go fishing, hunting and most of all enjoyed spending time with his kids just "paling around" or helping them with various projects. His laugh and smile were infectious and anyone that met or knew Frank enjoyed being around him as he always made them feel welcomed or made them laugh for hours.

Frank is survived by his sons David, Chad, Ron and Kenny; daughters, Joana, Angela, Crystal, and Amanda; and grandchildren Alexis, Jordan, Gavin, Kendra, and Samuel. He was also preceded in his death by his mother and sister Donna Foster.

The family will be holding a graveside service Monday, October 17, 2016, at ten o' clock in the morning at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard. Donations can be made to K9 for Warriors a non-profit that Frank truly cared for at http://k9sforwarriors.donorpages.com/MyEvent/FrankRemsen

Daddy, we will always carry your memory, smile, and your love in our hearts forever. We love you.
